Overview
Foretrace, developed by Volo, is a cutting-edge serverless web application. Leveraging Traces™ technology, it combats data leakage by detecting unauthorized data movement. Built on the AWS Cloud, it expands its threat exposure capabilities across the web. Its potent modules include Dark Web, Repo Scanner, and Data Leak Detection. Processing gigabytes of data daily, it generates thousands of scans and over 60,000 weekly data leak alerts. Furthermore, Foretrace supports daily scans and handles multiple entities per organization.
Approach
The project involves proposing features, managing deliverables, and architecting frontend and backend elements. Best practices are applied in code development, cloud security, and managing development challenges. The role includes providing development tools, recruiting a team, tracking tasks using Asana, and giving weekly updates to stakeholders. Code review and approval before merging is also a responsibility.
